Plain version: we're an independent price-tracking site, not a shop. We try hard to be accurate, but you buy from the retailer and should confirm the price there.
1. Acceptance
By using The Undersold you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. What The Undersold is
The Undersold is an independent information service that records retail prices over time and highlights items that are low relative to their own recorded history. We are not a retailer, marketplace, broker or agent. We hold no inventory, take no payment, and are not party to any transaction between you and a retailer.
3. Prices, availability and accuracy
Prices and availability are captured at the time of our last sweep and change without notice. Items sell out. Retailers make mistakes, and so may we — data is gathered automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Always confirm the current price, condition and terms on the retailer's own site before you buy. Nothing here is an offer to sell.
4. Claims about price history
Statements such as "lowest in N days of tracking" refer strictly to prices we have recorded since we began tracking that item, as described in How it works. They are not claims about an item's all-time price, nor about prices at retailers we don't track.
5. Third-party retailers
Links take you to third-party sites we don't control. Their terms, privacy policies, pricing, delivery, warranty and returns are entirely between you and them. We are not responsible for their content, conduct, or anything you buy from them.
6. Affiliate relationships
Some links may be affiliate links that earn us a commission at no additional cost to you. These relationships never determine which items appear or how they are ranked, and are disclosed on every page.
7. Acceptable use
Please don't attempt to disrupt the service, break its security, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for others, or misrepresent our data as your own. We may restrict access to protect the site.
8. Intellectual property
Product names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the products described. The Undersold is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any retailer or brand it tracks.
9. No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information here or from any purchase you make from a third party.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will change when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
